The Energizer® S696N Universal Charger charges AA, AAA, C, D and 9V rechargeable batteries. It provides fast, safe charging thanks to the built-in safety timer that prevents overcharge. There is also reverse polarity protection. The LCD panel quickly indicates charging status as well as bad battery detection. It will charge AA or AAA batteries within 3 to 5 hours.
